The similarities between Badla and The Invisible Guest Without sharing any spoilers - for those who haven't watched it yet - it's an exciting ride right up till the end when the thriller culminates into the big reveal. Most of the film is set in that one night as the man goes about sharing exact details and the film then works in flashbacks, leading up to the chilling finale. The movie's premise revolves a young man - who's accused of murdering his lover - describing in all honesty the recent turn of events that landed him in trouble to his defence attorney, a woman who's been recommended by his own lawyer, in a bid to get him out of trouble. The audience particularly loved the shocking climax of the movie that no one could have or actually saw coming. Starring Mario Casas, Ana Wagener, Jose Coronado and Barbara Lenie in the lead roles, the film won everyone's hearts in Spain upon its release and garnered over $30 million in profit.
